This
multi-disciplinary treatment program is an intensive
treatment offered to adults 18 years and older. The
24 Hour Structured Living Services is for people who
experience moderate psychiatric and/or substance abuse
problems. The 24 Hour Structured Living Services is
a cost-effective program which provides the structure
and intensity of an all-day program and a special supervised
living program that allows our clients to reside in
our apartment complex while attending their treatment
programs. A team of professionals, led by the patient's
psychiatrist, medically supervises the individual program
and sets the treatment goals. Our treatment plan offers
patients the opportunity to participate in group therapy
and educational groups while learning coping and problem-solving
skills. Individualized treatment includes group psychotherapy,
education for life management and stress reduction education.
The therapeutic focus is on symptom relief, problem
solving and improving the person's ability to function
independently. Patients participate in structured treatment
six days per week, usually for six hours each day returning
to their apartments each night. Self-help meetings are
scheduled for the evening. Our goal is to provide a
safe and secure treatment. Length of stay is determined
by individual patient's needs and the evaluation of
the treatment team.

For
those patients who live locally, we offer a Partial Hospitalization
Program. Partial Hospitalization has the same day program
and benefits as the 24
Hour Structured Living Services.
Partial Hospitalization clients continue to reside at
home while attending the day treatment program six days
a week or what is clinically indicated. To enter the Partial
Hospitalization program, the patient's treatment team
must approve the living at home for the patient. In some
cases it may not be recommended based on the particular
circumstances of the home environment. |
